I’ve always like the Tommy Hilfiger brand with its classic American styling and quintessential, laid-back coolness. This designer started out in 1985 with a menswear collection and soon branched into many upper-end textiles including bedding; this Tommy Hilfiger 200-Thread-Count Printed Sheet Set
reminds me of those preppy early days.

The design, appropriately named “Christopher Stripe”, features a handsome, button-down-shirt-look with stripes in navy blue and light blue with white and red accents. An understated and yet still unique look for a young man’s bedroom or guest quarters. With a slightly nautical flavor, you might just feel as if you were slipping off for a nap in your chaise in the Hamptons.

Fashioned from 200-thread count combed cotton, these Tommy Hilfiger sheets offer an “entry-level” amount of softness. Thread count is based on the number of cotton threads per square inch, so the higher the number the smoother and “silkier” the feel of the fabric.

Some of the purchasers of this product have complained that the felt stiff or scratchy but have been willing to sacrifice this for the overall good look of the product.

Available in the standard gamut of sizes, there is also the harder-to-find Twin Extra Long size. The Tommy Hilfiger Sheet Set features one or two pillow case depending on the size, a flat top sheet and a fitted bottom sheet. The fitted bottom sheet is guaranteed to fit mattresses up to 15 inches thick. If you have an overstuffed, pillow top mattress, you may want to break out a measuring tape before ordering.

All and all, this is a decent product for the price, especially if you are label-conscious or a big fan of Tommy Hilfiger.

If you have opulent tastes and are looking for top-of-the-lines sheets, high thread-count sheets, this particular Tommy Hilfiger product may give you bad dreams.
