The cuddle blanket reviewed was for a smaller blanket which is so popular we have trouble keeping up with supplies. The blanket shown is the n-a-p Cuddle Blanket measures 40″ x 60″.

The Brookstone n-a-p Cuddle Blanket is designed to be used as a throw or a light cover for napping in a chair or on the couch.

It is available online or at Brookstone stores, and most of those reviewed had purchased the forty inches by sixty inches version (although there are larger blankets available). Most said they loved their blanket, and would definitely recommend it to others.

This cuddle blanket comes in a variety of colors, and is easily washable. Many consumers stated they had washed the blanket multiple times without any bleeding or pilling issues—and in addition, any stains from accidental spills just seem to come right out with minimal effort. This makes the blanket a steal – the price was another plus, according to many consumers who thought it compared favorably to other throws.

This blanket has been reviewed as luxurious by consumers who chose to take it camping. One reviewer weighed in saying they had taken their blanket to Iraq, and been very pleased with the comfort it provided. By all accounts the Brookstone Cuddle Blanket is warm, soft and silky. One consumer said they had worried it would be scratchy, and they were pleasantly surprised that is wasn’t.

One negative review has been logged; the consumer claims that the blanket discolored their white leather couch. The Brookstone n-a-p Cuddle Blanket certainly does the job it is designed for,  perfectly according to those who have purchased and reviewed it.

The unique two sided blanket is touted as being small and lightweight enough for plane or car rides, yet warm, luxurious and durable. Most consumers appreciate the fact that here is a blanket that actually lives up to its name; it feels like a dream to be cuddled up in it, whether on the bed, the couch or the road.

One side of the blanket, as one reviewer put it, is similar to a fur blanket, while the other is just like a soft microfiber towel. This same reviewer pointed out another plus to the product – no more thermostat wars with significant other about how hot to keep their home. The blanket can be used to warm up the chillier half of a couple without suffocating the other.

There are claims that the blanket feels just like a cloud, it is so soft. The fluffy plushness is apparently enough to make anyone want to crawl in a bed and take a nap; grandmothers and grandsons alike.

One reviewer claims she simply tosses her blanket in with the linens and washes it with no adverse results, while another claims it loses some of its softness if cleaning instructions are not followed carefully.

The picture  on the throw is based on the penguin movie Happy Feet (a movie that almost any child adores) and  this blanket has nothing but five star reviews listed for it.

Due to the fact that it is based on a movie, the Happy Feet Micro Raschel Throw Penguins Blanket is considered officially licensed merchandise—but that doesn’t have anything to do with how well it does as a blanket, or what consumers think of it.

Made of polyester, and fairly large for a blanket—fifty inches by sixty inches—the Happy Feet Micro Raschel Throw Penguins Blanket entertains children and grownups alike. Because of the fluff of the polyester, there is plenty of warmth in the blanket.

This is a very soft blanket, and one reviewer pointed out it was good that  her child’s room is cool, as it might be too warm for summer use otherwise. Another parent stated that her child loves all of the products associated with the movie, but she was particularly impressed by the quality of the throw,  for the price paid.

Parents and grandparents alike love the Penguins Blanket for their children and grandchildren— and one stated she planned to buy another for her own use! Some reviewers opted to use this particular blanket as a wall hanging, or even for a way to work at identifying things, as in a learning game.

All the reviews are five stars, which is very high for a children’s product; the price is probably the most appreciated as the blanket was overall more than was expected for under $20.

The luxurious, elegant and high class JoJo Designs 9-Piece Baby Designer Crib Bedding Set is a popular item with parents and grandparents alike, and the solid ratings reflect this. It’s mostly liked for its pretty, feminine qualities – without being frilly or lacy.

The biggest and most pleasant surprise for the majority of reviewers was that even though the tag states dry clean only, they did not encounter any problems washing it in the machine. Some have even put the bedding in the dryer with good results, and most seem to agree that the material is of fine quality. A few of the reviewers were disappointed that the set was dry clean only (which they did not realize when ordering), and instead of attempting to wash it, sent it back instead. This apparently could have been avoided, as far as the consensus goes.

However, instead of pink and brown shabby country chic as advertised, most reviewers agree this bedding set is more Asian inspired with a lot of gold coloring in it. Most saw this as an advantage as it allowed them flexibility with their nursery designs, but a few reviewers did not like the Asian vibe at all, because they did not expect it. The latter were unhappy that the picture did not reveal the amount of gold coloring it had in person.

All in all, while both sides mentioned the same facts about this set, the rating given depended on their overall outlook about this product and how well they could adapt to it. This JoJo design 9-piece set ranks a solid 4 out of 5 stars overall.

Review: American Baby Company 100% Organic Cotton 4 Piece Crib Set

The American Baby Company 100% Organic Cotton Crib Set seems well liked and the rating ratio is 3:1 positive. However, reviewers from both sides aren’t sure it should be labeled organic.

The positive reviewers describe this crib set as soft, plush with a very comfortable feel to it. They also like the large size of the blankets, and one customer would buy this particular item if it were available as adult bedding.

Most everyone agreed this set was very reasonably priced. One reviewer liked the easy maintenance and that it was washable, and another commented favorably on the neutral shade. He expected the product to be darker, but was pleasantly surprised that it was not.

The most common concern was the question if this product should really be allowed to be advertised as organic, since it contains resin treated polyester.

Many reviewers (positive and negative alike) also had a problem with this product being made in China. While most customers could deal with these two issues because of the low price, they said they would not feel comfortable buying another. Only one customer sent the crib set back, and it was for this reason, not the quality of the product.

Another negative mentioned by a couple of people was that the color description was misleading and should be called tan instead of mocha. They thought the product would be much darker in person, and saw it as a negative that it was too light. One person had to improvise to make the bumper guard fit her crib.

Despite the assortment of negative comments, most reviewers thought the value of the product and the feel of the material outweighed their concerns. That is why this product ranks a solid 4 out of 5 stars overall.
