Disney Princess Bedding: Sheet Sets, Blankets, Pillows, Comforters

Did you know that the Disney Princess franchise was introduced to combat dropping sales for the Disney Consumer Products division? As result of their success sales increased from $300 million in 2001 to $3 billion in 2006. Pretty amazing really but I guess it is understandable since it seems that just about every little girl wants to be a princess.

The Disney Princess range of bedding is quite extensive with sheet sets, blankets, pilows, comforters and comforter sets being available for purchase.

Since the number of Disney princesses has increased over the years from 6 to 8 and with the possible inclusion of Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog making that a 9, the range of bedding is forever changing.

The original six princesses include Snow White, Cinderella, Auroa, Ariel, Belle and Jasmine. Recently Mulan and Pocahontas have been added and as already mentioned it it expected that Princess Tiana will also be included.

Disney’s Cars Cuddle Pillow – Lightning McQueen and Towmaster

disney-cars-cuddle-pillowHow cute are these? If you have a little one at home who loves the movies Cars then they will love one of these Disney’s Cars Cuddle Pillow.

The pillows measure approximately 15in x 6in and are in the shape of the Lightning McQueen race car or the The Towmaster from Cars from the movie Cars.

Filled with squishy polystrene beads these are beautiful soft pillows that your kids will love to cuddle up to.

Unfortunately these are not machine washable and can only be spot cleaned.

I would think at some point it will need washing and rather than throw it away I would take the risk and at least hand wash it.
